CEEPUS

The Jornadas Iberoamericanas, organized by the Ibero-American Center of the University of Pécs, which has reached its sixteenth edition in 2023, is organized every year in the first week of May. Since 2015, this academic event has been organized together with the Pázmány Péter Catholic University as the CEEPUS Spring School of the Central European Hispanist Network and attracts numerous students from the 22 universities in Central and Southeast Europe that are part of this professional association. The program includes workshops given by the teachers, conferences and debates of various kinds, meetings with writers, diplomats, translators and other professionals in the area of the humanities,. A large space is occupied by the student symposium, in which students present their papers on a variety of research topics. In 2023, the Ibero-American Conference and the CEEPUS Spring School took place between May 2 and 6 at the two organizing universities.
