LITPRAX in Brasil
Professor Bojana Kovačević Petrović, the LITPRAX coordinator from the University of Novi Sad, was invited in June 2024 to the Paraná region of Brazil to give a series of lectures. On June 4th, she presented the LITPRAX project to more than 50 students and teachers from UNESPAR Apucarana, Brazil, in the framework of the presentation entitled “Languages and literatures in the Serbian educational system”. The attendees, on the one hand, were surprised by the number of books and texts translated from Spanish in the 21st century, and on the other hand, they showed interest in learning about Brazilian literature translated into Serbian and the languages of Central and Eastern Europe.
